Farm to Table Wedding Inspiration in Nashville

If noshing on delicious foods and embracing farm life sounds like your idea of a good time, you’re sure to love this wedding shoot from Shots by Cheyenne and Petals and Fields. Here, vegetables have a starring role not only in the dishes, but also in the centerpieces, table runner, and bouquets. We’re ready to see radishes make more appearances in floral arrangements from here on out!

From the venue, Briar Rose Hill: We had the opportunity to work with some amazing Nashville wedding professionals on a “Farm to Table” styled shoot. The inspiration for the shoot was our newly renovated 1850s carriage barn at Briar Rose Hill. We wanted everything to have that organic farm fresh look and feel. From the vegetables in the bridal and bridesmaid bouquets to the fresh fruit on the wedding cake. Even the invites, menus and place cards all had vegetables incorporated on them. We use the carriage barn during weddings and have done several small events inside the barn.

Mother's Day 2023

As we approach Mother's Day 2023, it's important to take a moment to reflect on the significance of this holiday. Mother's Day is a time to celebrate and honor the women who have given us life, love, and guidance throughout our lives. While this day is often associated with gifts, cards, and flowers, it's important to remember the true meaning behind Mother's Day: gratitude and appreciation for the sacrifices our mothers have made.

In many ways, Mother's Day is a holiday that has been celebrated for centuries. In ancient Greece, the mother goddess Rhea was honored with a spring festival that included parades, feasts, and offerings. In the United States, Mother's Day was officially recognized as a holiday in 1914, thanks to the efforts of Anna Jarvis, who wanted to honor her own mother and all mothers.

Today, Mother's Day is celebrated around the world, with different countries and cultures having their own unique traditions. In Mexico, for example, Mother's Day is celebrated on May 10th with a large family gathering and traditional foods. In Ethiopia, Mother's Day is celebrated in the fall with a three-day festival that includes dancing, singing, and feasting.

No matter how Mother's Day is celebrated, the sentiment remains the same: to honor and appreciate the women who have given us so much. This year, as we continue to navigate the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it's more important than ever to show our mothers how much we care.

One way to celebrate Mother's Day in 2023 is to take a moment to reflect on the lessons and values that our mothers have taught us. From the importance of hard work and perseverance to the value of kindness and empathy, our mothers have shaped us in countless ways. By taking the time to recognize and appreciate these lessons, we can honor our mothers in a meaningful way.

Another way to celebrate Mother's Day in 2023 is to give back to our communities in honor of our mothers. Whether it's volunteering at a local charity or donating to a cause that our mothers care about, this is a meaningful way to show our gratitude and appreciation.

Of course, traditional Mother's Day gifts like flowers and cards are always a great way to show our mothers how much we care. However, it's important to remember that the true value of Mother's Day lies in the love and appreciation that we show our mothers, not in the material gifts that we give.

In conclusion, Mother's Day 2023 is a time to reflect on the importance of our mothers in our lives and to show our gratitude and appreciation for all that they have done for us. Whether we celebrate with traditional gifts or by giving back to our communities, the most important thing is to honor our mothers and to let them know how much they mean to us.

What Flowers Will Be In Season For 2023?

The availability of flowers is largely dependent on factors such as climate, weather conditions, and geographical location. Generally, flowers that are in season locally will be more readily available and than those that are out of season or imported from elsewhere.

If you are planning a wedding or event and want to know which flowers will be in season, it is best to consult with a local florist or floral supplier. They will have a better understanding of what is available in your area and can provide guidance on which flowers will be in season during the time of your event.

Country Wedding at Saddlewood Farms

Being featured in a magazine is always exciting, but being featured in People Magazine is a whole different level of excitement. Recently, we had the privilege of being featured in People Magazine's Country Edition.

Our small business, which specializes in floral design and event planning, we had the opportunity to work with country music star Jon Pardi and his wife Summer Duncan on their wedding day. It was an honor to be chosen to create the floral arrangements for their special day, and we were thrilled to see our work featured in People Magazine's coverage of their wedding.

The article, which showcased the couple's wedding photo album, highlighted our floral arrangements.

When Summer shared her floral vision, we were so excited to be a part of this journey to create the most beautiful designs that spoke of their style & elegance.

We take great pride in our work, and we always strive to create unique and stunning arrangements and offer top tier customer service to each and every client.

We want to thank Jon and Summer for entrusting us with their wedding day floral arrangements and for allowing us to be a part of their special day. We're grateful for the opportunity to work with such wonderful clients and to be featured in a publication as prestigious as People Magazine.
